Who are we?
The Lainshaw parent’s association are a group of parents who work with the school and ECC to provide fun activities for all of the pupils and raise some much-needed funds for school events. We work hard fundraising over the year to enable us to fund items such as P7 leavers presents, burns medals and the ever popular but expensive colour fun run. Other items can be requested by the school, and we try to fund as much as possible.
This year the parent’s association are in a very different place than previous years with only a few remaining committee members from last year and all new office bearers. We meet up once a month to discuss and plan events, and we run the events on the day. We welcome new members at any time. If you think you would like to come along then please do so, new members/helpers will be welcomed with open arms. You do not have to come to every event/meeting. Our next meeting will be held in the standalane centre.
Individually we are parents whose children attend Lainshaw Primary and ECC and we want our children to have the best school experience possible. We work hard to provide fun activities that make lasting memoris for our children and have fun ourselves at the same time.
How we fund raise?
We have a school lottery that runs every week, it provides much needed fund for events and you can win a cash prize too.
We use easy fundraising which enables us to raise a little extra money at no cost to you! Who doesn’t love a bit of free money. Unlike other online cashback sites Amazon is included, great way to fundraise while you are Christmas shopping.
We run a stall at the Stewarton Yuletide event, if you are there with your family please pop over and say Hi!
We are running a stall at this year’s school fayre. Tea and coffee for the adults, juice and tuck for the children. Stop by for some refreshments and a chance to win a snuggly christmas squishmallow…
All of this is alongside the events we run for the children, such as the discos, family days/nights and the colour fun run!
Any money we raise goes straight back to the children, whether that is funding items for the school or organising events.

How we share information
We have a facebook group that is open to all in the school community, we will use this to share information, answer any questions etc.
