Taking care of your children since 1997
In 1995 Margaret Campbell & Jeanette McIntyre opened after school care called Rascals in Nether Robertland Primary School.
In 1997, due to the increase in children attending from Lainshaw Primary School, a second childcare service opened there. They divided into two separate groups when funding became available, Jeanette continuing at Rascals and Margaret at Lainshaw Lions; the name was chosen by the children.
Lainshaw Lions childcare services have since expanded, with ‘Breakfast Club’ added in 1999 due to the needs of working families. Demand for local childcare continues to grow as Lainshaw Lions continue to ensure they meet the needs of families and children.
We offer Breakfast club 7am-9am, after school club 3pm-6pm and Holiday care 7:30am-6pm.
We are a small team of 7 with a range of experience and qualifications, who strive to provide the best possible experiences for the children and families in our care. We have a close working relationship with the team at Lainshaw primary and ECC to ensure we are meeting the needs of the children to a high standard.
