Last week we celebrated Book Week Scotland. There was a Scholastic book fair in the library and a scrambled letters book quiz. We also asked pupils and staff to post answers to book-related questions on our wall.

The second round of the Readers’ Cup Quiz took place in the library on Wednesday 27th April. Well done to all the pupils who took part. Congratulations to the winners – Mrs Dunsmuir’s S1 team and Mr McEwan’s S2 team.
The final is at Grange Academy on Tuesday 14th June.

Our S1 and S2 pupils have been taking part in the first round of the Readers’ Cup Quiz this week to celebrate World Book Day. For those who make it through – the interclass round will be held in April.
Members of our S1 book club visited Glasgow to see the ceremony for the Scottish Children’s Book Awards this week. Pupils also had the chance to buy books and get them signed by the authors.
