The play was \u2018Observe the Sons of Ulster marching towards the Somme.\u2019 The play followed the exploits a group of young recruits from Northern Ireland who volunteered to fight in the First World War. The pupils behaved well in the theatre and were a credit to the school.<\/p>\n<p>Pupil comments after the production.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cit was really interesting\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe learned about the recruits\u2019 thoughts and feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThought the acting was brilliant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpecial effects were really good.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>S3 and S4 pupils experienced a very successful and rewarding trip to the Citizen\u2019s Theatre Glasgow on Wednesday 1st June.
