There then followed many wonderful performances from both junior and senior pupils. Included in this was the school\u2019s Advanced Higher class consisting of 18 pupils which is one of the largest if not the largest class in Scotland. Together with\u00a0one James Hamilton Academy\u2019s pupil many students performed their exam pieces.\u00a0 A first for the school was a performance on the Glockenspiel by Kyle Sweeney who played \u201cThe Entertainer\u201d. \u00a0KAs very own band \u00a0\u201cThe Replaceables&#8221; performed a number called \u201cTake a Chance\u201d which was written by one of our 6<sup>th<\/sup> year pupils, Zoe Ross.<\/p>\n<p>In a relaxed atmosphere,\u00a0 the audience enjoyed tea\/coffee and spring cakes and the show was compered by our Depute Head Teacher, Mr Howie.<\/p>\n<p>A big thank you to music teachers Mrs Campbell and Mrs Hyslop for all their hard work throughout the year getting students able to performer on stage and also to exam standard.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you also to Mr Campbell , Callum Gibson, Regan Kelly, Jed Montgomery and Kieran McMurtrie for sound and stage crew.<\/p>\n<p>Finally thanks to staff and parents for all their support and pupils for their outstanding performances on the night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Spring Concert was started in style by the Senior Choir singing \u201cFix You\u201d.
