Accept that in every situation we must follow the rules for the benefit of all even when difficult or uncomfortable.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Self discipline<\/span> The ability to work and behave in a controlled manner, even when something is challenging or unpleasant.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Endeavour<\/span> A serious attempt to undertake a new challenge even when it is difficult.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Ambition<\/span> The desire or determination to be successful in all that we do.<\/p>\n<p>Kilmarnock Academy is absolutely committed to connecting all our students to learning, the community and the world of work. We have a thriving Pupil Council and Parent Council. We have also won \u201cInternational Schools\u201d status and are working towards being recognised as a \u201cRights Respecting School\u201d. \u00a0We are committed to meeting the needs and aspirations of each and every child that enters our school. We are very well resourced, and our teachers work extremely hard to engage all students intheir learning. We have also built excellent relationships with the business community, and are supported well by local churches and local community groups in building meaningful experiences for all our young people.
