Literacy

In term 2 we will be continuing to say, make, break and blend words with our new  joined phonemes.  We will be using our description bubbles to help us write character descriptions.  As part of our Grammar activities we will be learning to put words into alphabetical order.

Numeracy

This term we will be counting on and back and ordering numbers to 50.  We will be partitioning digit numbers into tens and ones and recognising the role of zero as a place holder.

In mathematics we will be learning to name, sort and recognise the properties of 3D and 2D shape.

Health & Wellbeing

In PE we will be taking part in possession games and learning to maintain possession to practise those skills in basketball and netball.

We will be learning how to stay safe in the dark and finding out about suitable clothing to wear at night time.

Social Subjects

This term we will be learning about The Skeleton.
