{"id":491,"date":"2021-12-17T12:50:45","date_gmt":"2021-12-17T12:50:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/hwbclplcalendar\/?page_id=491"},"modified":"2022-07-14T18:02:43","modified_gmt":"2022-07-14T17:02:43","slug":"clpl-from-the-exchange","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/hwbclplcalendar\/school-counselling\/clpl-from-the-exchange\/","title":{"rendered":"CLPL FROM THE EXCHANGE"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>Resilience Framework Whole School Training<\/strong><\/h4>\n<div>The Exchange are offering whole school\u00a0<span class=\"mark58l8sq9cx\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">CLPL<\/span>\u00a0to all schools in East Ayrshire which is based around their resilience framework \u2013<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>\u201cA Resource-Based Approach to understanding the psychological wellbeing and emotional development of children and young people\u201d. \u00a0The main aim of this Professional Learning is to give staff an overview of the resilience framework used by the Exchange to assess and support wellbeing.<\/div>\n<div><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>Course Aims\/Content:\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn the Resource-based Framework used by the Exchange<\/li>\n<li>Promote positive mental health through the 15 elements of resilience<\/li>\n<li>Map on existing provisions and how each activity targets specific resilience elements to create a whole-school strategic approach to supporting psychological wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>To provide a shared language and understanding of some of the strategies used by the counsellors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>The training is a 2 hour session (exact timings can be agreed with each school)<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>and would ideally involve as many staff as possible \u00a0 At the moment training will be delivered via TEAMs but we\u2019re hoping this may change in the New Year.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Please contact\u00a0Kerry.jarvis@east-ayrshire.org.uk to book a session.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h4><strong>P7 Transition Workshop Training <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Exchange are going to be offering<span class=\"x_x_Apple-converted-space\" style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 16px\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"x_x_markc75fqnxid\" style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 16px\"><span class=\"mark23wszs7e6\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">CLPL<\/span><\/span><span class=\"x_x_Apple-converted-space\" style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 16px\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 16px\">to Primary 7 teachers in East Ayrshire which is based around their transition programme \u2013<\/span><span class=\"x_x_x_Apple-converted-space\" style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 16px\">\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 16px\">T<\/strong><b style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 16px\">he Adventure Programme (P7 Transition)<\/b><\/p>\n<div>\n<div><b>Course Aims<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_x_MsoNormal\">To introduce staff to targeted resilience resources and explore how these activities can be used as protective factors for children through transition.<\/li>\n<li>To train P7 teachers to deliver the Transition \u201cadventure programme\u201d to their own class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b>Training Details<\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This training is for teachers who are currently teaching P7. \u00a0This will be offered to all P7 teachers in East Ayrshire, free of charge!
