We had a busy week last week with lots of Halloween things happening in the classroom. On Friday it was fantastic to see everyone in their costumes – some people looked very scary!<\/p>\n
This week we will be starting to look at Remembrance Day and why we wear poppies.<\/p>\n
In numeracy we were practising the bridging strategy<\/strong> last week, and this week we are looking at counting on<\/strong>. A good way of checking that you have mastered a strategy is to teach it to someone else so let’s hope there are a lot of adult volunteers ready to learn.<\/p>\n Keep practising your reading and your spelling words.
