You have all worked so hard and settled in very well to primary 1.<\/p>\n<p>This week we started looking at the characters that are in the stories we are going to be reading &#8211; Biff, Chip, Kipper, Floppy, Mum and Dad.<br \/>\nWe have also been learning about odd and even numbers.<\/p>\n<p>For this week&#8217;s task, you should look for some objects around your house that begin with the sounds &#8216;s, a, t, p, i, n&#8217; just like Geraldine the Giraffe does!<br \/>\neg.<br \/>\ns &#8211; slippers<br \/>\na &#8211; apple<br \/>\nt &#8211; tap<br \/>\np &#8211; pear<br \/>\ni &#8211; ink<br \/>\nn &#8211; noodles<br \/>\nTalk about the sounds you hear in the words, is there more than one that we have learned? eg.\u00a0<b>s<\/b>l<b>ipp<\/b>er<strong>s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have fun on your sound hunt and we hope you have a wonderful holiday!<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Carey and Miss Walley \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone \ud83d\ude42 Can you believe we are into our last week of term 1 already?
