The focus in Literacy has been looking at the features of narrative text to help us plan, structure and write interesting stories.\u00a0 We have continued to look at how to develop a Growth Mindset and we used visualisation to illustrate what this means.<\/p>\n<p>Home Challenge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>read a narrative text (fiction story \/ novel) for at least 15 minutes &#8211; take a note of your starting time and finishing time and record these times in digital <em>and<\/em> analogue format\u00a0 <\/strong><em>e.g. Starting Time:\u00a0 7.30pm \/\u00a0 half past 7 in the evening\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Finishing Time: 7.45pm \/ quarter to 8 in the evening<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enjoy your weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs W<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week has been very busy and I&#8217;m sure we&#8217;re looking forward to a restful weekend.
