Multiplication<\/p>\n
This week we learned about multiplication. We found out that\u00a0the symbol is an x and it means ‘lots of’. We used arrays and \u00a0repeated addition to find the answers to our calculations.<\/p>\n
We looked at\u00a0multiplying by 2 and discovered it was just the same as doubles, We also\u00a0investigated\u00a0multiplying by 5 and 10.<\/p>\n
Vikings<\/p>\n
As part of our Viking topic we have been learning a lot about Viking houses. We know what materials they used to build them and what they looked like inside – they were very different to our houses! We worked in pairs to design the inside and outside and made our own Viking houses.<\/p>\n
