P6\/5 had a great time doing maths outdoors this morning.\u00a0 First we collected, counted and sorted a variety of natural materials.\u00a0 \"\" Some children arranged them into a symmetrical picture and some sorted them into categories by colour, shape, size or where they came from.\u00a0 We then used the natural resources to count and create a bar chart headed “Natural Resources in our Playground.” To develop our understanding of fractions, we used sticks to create our own equivalent fraction walls.\u00a0 Well done P6\/5, great work!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
