{"id":12546,"date":"2024-02-22T15:46:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T15:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/hurlfordpsecc\/?p=12546"},"modified":"2024-02-22T15:46:00","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T15:46:00","slug":"world-book-day-thursday-7th-march-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/hurlfordpsecc\/2024\/02\/22\/world-book-day-thursday-7th-march-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"WORLD BOOK DAY &#8211; THURSDAY 7TH MARCH 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our Pupil Council have met and discussed a few ideas regarding World Book Day.<\/p>\n<p>They would like to do the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring your\u00a0 favourite book to school<\/li>\n<li>Bring 3 props that would describe your favourite book or favourite character from a book<\/li>\n<li>Have a Book Swap &#8211; bring a book (or 2!) from home that you have read and swap it for a different book<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will be designing book marks, book covers and quizzing and reading in school!<\/p>\n<p>There is also a special lunch menu that day which is book themed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BFG Burgers<\/li>\n<li>Gruffalo Goujons<\/li>\n<li>Willy Wonka Wedges<\/li>\n<li>Hungry Caterpillar Corn \/ Princess Peas<\/li>\n<li>Charlie&#8217;s Chocolate Cake<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All pupils have been issued with the World Book Day token and books are available in supermarkets etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Pupil Council have met and discussed a few ideas regarding World Book Day.
