Hi everyone,<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

P6 have had another busy week.\u00a0 Sadly it was our last week at skiing and most kids were sad it is finished.\u00a0 They did so well!!! A massive thank you to all parents that came to see the kids on the final day!<\/p>\n

The kids complete a reflective journal at the end of the week.\u00a0 We call it a learning log.\u00a0 This week I have taken some photographs of their excellent work for you to see how we do it.<\/p>\n

We had loads of fun developing our communication skills with Lynsey Murphy again this week.\u00a0 Our hall looked a complete mess when she set us a challenge to work on our communication skills.\u00a0 We had to explain to a team mate silently how to tell another team mate that was blindfolded how to navigate their way through our hall without touching anything. If we did we had to start at the beginning again.\u00a0 This was really tricky when 6 kids are all shouting at the same time.\u00a0 We also had time to play bench ball and remind ourselves what is safe and what is not!!<\/p>\n

Literacy this week was a mix of poetry and writing character descriptions.\u00a0 We discussed onomatopoeia, adjectives and adverbs.\u00a0 Developing our character we had to think about their appearance, personality, name and age.<\/p>\n

In Maths, we looked at fractions, prime numbers and reinforced work on multiplication an division.<\/p>\n
