Term 1 has flown by in P7. \u00a0Everyone has worked hard and we\u2019ve had lots of fun along the way! Here is a round-up of what we\u2019ve been up to.<\/p>\n

Maths & Numeracy:<\/p>\n

-we have developed understanding of place value up to and beyond a million.<\/p>\n

-we have used rounding to estimate answers to calculations and looked \u00a0at rounding decimals.<\/p>\n

– telling the time has been revised and we have been practising how to calculate time durations.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Literacy<\/p>\n

-Our novel study has been \u2018Kensuke\u2019s Kingdom\u2019 by Michael Morpurgo and we will complete this after October break.<\/p>\n

-In writing, we have learned about similes, metaphors and personification and used them to write descriptively.<\/p>\n
