It’s showtime!!<\/p>\n
After nearly eight months of working on our show, the big day has finally arrived. P6 and P5 are proud to present Disney Schools production of ‘Aladdin’.\u00a0 We have been working so hard and are very excited to finally perform on stage.\u00a0 The rehearsals have gone well and we really hope you enjoy the show.<\/p>\n
As well as rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing, P6 have been busy working hard across the curriculum. In Literacy and Social Studies, we used listening skills to take notes and to answer questions on lifestyles in different European countries. We also practised using commas in lists and continued to work on our handwriting skills.<\/p>\n
This week in numeracy, we finished our topic on number patterns and sequences and did an assessment to test our knowledge and\u00a0 understanding.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, with Miss Baillie,\u00a0 we took our learning outdoors and worked in groups to create and film an advert.\u00a0 We can’t wait to watch all our clips in class.<\/p>\n
It was our dress rehearsal yesterday in front of pupils and staff.\u00a0 We were a bit nervous but it went fine. We hope the audience enjoyed it! On Thursday afternoon we had a Devices & Movie Party as a reward for achieving our Secret Student target.\u00a0 We are very proud of how well we have been behaving in and out of class and Mrs Wilson said it was a well-deserved treat!<\/p>\n
