About Us<\/h1>\n

The term \u2018Parent Forum\u2019 refers to every parent and carer of every pupil at Grange Academy. The term \u2018Parent Council\u2019 refers to a small group of Grange parents who meet with the Head Teacher roughly six times a year to discuss school life from a parent\u2019s point of view.\u00a0 The meetings are organised and chaired by parents, rather than teachers. They provide an excellent opportunity to \u2018get behind the scenes\u2019 of school life and have a say in the direction the school is taking. The Parent Council is always looking to welcome new faces so please come along if you think it might be for you. You won\u2019t be pressured into attending every single meeting or organising events or anything like that! It\u2019s your advice and opinions about Grange life that we\u2019re after.<\/p>\n

We are hugely grateful for the support provided by the Parent Council and pleased that all decisions about best use of the money were taken by parents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

SGM & November Parent Council Meeting<\/div>\n

The next meeting of Grange Academy\u2019s Parent Council will take place on Monday 17th November at 6.30pm in the school library.<\/div>\n
At the start of this meeting there will be a Special General Meeting of the Council to deal with the following matters:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1. A proposal to change the constitution to state that continued membership of the council is dependent on a member attending at least two meetings throughout the school year (current constitution states one meeting must be attended).<\/div>\n

2. \u2060To consider admitting a new member to the Parent Council.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

Announcing Our New Office Bearers Following the Annual General Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Parents and Carers,<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are delighted to share the results of our Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on Wednesday 24th September, where new office bearers were elected to lead our Parent Council for the 2025\/26 session.<\/p>\n
