Everyone took up to a maximum of 3 pieces of paper and wrote their name, the number of an Article of the UNCRC they could remember and a description of what that article was about. In each class, these papers were put into a tub and, on Friday afternoon,\u00a0 winners from each class were drawn from all the entries. As part of their prize, most of the winners received a sharpener in the shape of a globe of the world. This is to remind us all that we are all <strong>Global Citizens<\/strong> and that the Rights contained in the UNCRC are for all children in the world. It is also a reminder of how lucky we are since, in some poorer countries of the world, it can be difficult for children to have all their Rights.<\/p>\n<p>Here you can also see 3 of our <strong>Pledge Trees<\/strong> with Articles we have looked at all around. There are 4 Pledge trees in the school corridor, one for each House &#8211; <strong>red, blue, green and yellow<\/strong>. Each year group within the school put their thumbprint on the trees in a different shade of their House colour.
