The annual schools swimming gala will take place in the afternoon of Saturday 10th November in The Citadel, Ayr for children in Primary 5, 6 and 7.<\/p>\n
This is a very competitive event with some children aiming to qualify for the national finals in Glasgow in January. Most children who compete are linked to Clubs and training \/ compete regularly. However, it is also an opportunity for strong, confident swimmers to experience the excitement of a gala.<\/p>\n
Each race is 50m and the children can enter up to 3 individual races. A relay team will be entered if there are enough children participating.<\/p>\n
For further details or entries\u00a0please contact Mrs Lawson. Children with PB times should give these along with their chosen races.<\/p>\n
Parents would be responsible for taking \/ picking up their children from the venue.<\/p>\n
