The yellow button envelope contains leaflets regarding age appropriate speech sounds. I noticed these leaflets were running very low this week so they have been replenished please feel free to take one and should you have any concerns about your child&#8217;s speech please speak to their keyworker or our communication champion.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some tips to improve your child&#8217;s language:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Talk to your child face to face\u00a0as often as possible<\/li>\n<li>Read to your child daily<\/li>\n<li>Listen to music together<\/li>\n<li>Tell stories real or made up to encourage their imagination<\/li>\n<li>Follow your child&#8217;s lead within play<\/li>\n<li>Never criticize your child&#8217;s speech or articulation<\/li>\n<li>Use computers and tv sparingly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our NHS communication poster has changed and an updated poster\u00a0has now been\u00a0attached to our communication board for your reference.\u00a0 Our top tip is still about asking questions and following this\u00a0with adding\u00a0two comments.
