Last week our House and Vice Captains organised a whole school Kahoot Quiz challenge.
They visited every class and organised everyone in to their House Team and set the quiz running.
We hope that the house points will boost the running totals for each house team.

Well done to our amazing House and Vice Captains. They spoke with confidence and pride during the launch coffee morning for our school celebrations.
Primary 7 sang ‘We’ll Meet Again’ by Vera Lynne to the audience to represent our decade of the 1940s.
Many guests commented on how impressed they were by how confident and respectful our Primary 7 representatives were during the morning.
Well done everyone!
Fulton Fowlds Dunlop Howie
To prepare for our House Captain Speeches and to learn a little bit more about the names of our School Houses, we completed some research on the laptops.
We learned about John Fulton who invented the Orrery, and was a notable mathematician. Matthew Fowlds who was the last remaining hand loom weaver in the area and died after his 100th birthday. The Dunlop family who were a famous Covenanting Family in the area. John Howie, who was born near Fenwick in Lochgoin Farmhouse which provided refuge to the Covenanters.
We discovered that all of these important Fenwick people are buried in the village. So we decided to go and explore the village and find their memorial stones.
