We have been learning all about the design process in art with Miss Wales. Working in groups, we have been given a task to design a pair of trainers for different teachers in school. We read over the design brief for each teacher and then created mood boards on the laptops.
Today we used materials to design a dress inspired by our mood boards. We learned that creating and evaluating were part of this design process. The class was a calm, creative space today and we loved sharing our finished pieces of work with our peers. We even had lots of staff come in for a look at our work.
Primary 7 were absolutely delighted when, after the lesson, we learned that our fabulous student teacher , Miss Wales, had passed her placement and we celebrated with the arrival of our new leavers hoodies!
