December was a busy month for P7. Pantomime, parties and working the stalls at the Christmas Fayre.
P7 – Christmas Fayre Update
Fenwick Primary School Christmas Fayre
Please see below a reminder/update regarding our Christmas Fayre which is this Friday.
We can’t wait to welcome our families along to join in the festivities.
Also, we have been very lucky to secure prizes of vouchers and gifts for our raffle at the Christmas Fayre. Tickets can be bought this Friday 6th December during the Christmas Fayre. If any local businesses or families would still like to donate prizes, these would be more than welcome (please contact the school to do so). We also have house coloured treat hampers along with a selection of other prizes that have been kindly donated by our pupils and their families that will be up for grabs!
P7 STEM Event at Loudoun Academy
P 7 STEM Event
We had a fantastic day of learning at Loudoun Academy.
We enjoyed meeting Primary 7s from across our cluster primary schools.
Mrs Ross was extremely proud of how we displayed our school values as we moved around the activities and engaged with respect and ambition.
P7 Book Week Scotland
We loved spending time this week reading for pleasure and learning about how authors create and publish their stories.
We loved learning from Inspector Fleming, PC Rae, Hannah Willow and all our Parent Readers. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped share their love of reading with us.
It was fun sharing our love of books with younger pupils.
We even took part in the St Andrew’s Day Reading Record Attempt with schools across Scotland.
P7 Hallhouse Visit
We were invited to Hallhouse Care Home to celebrate with them as part of their 30th birthday celebrations.
The residents were delighted to have us back and recognised us from our visits in Primary 5.
P7 Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day
Today we walked to Fenwick Cemetery to visit the war graves of two of the soldiers that are named on our War Memorial. We took some flowers and a poppy cross to lay on their graves and remember them.
We were pleased to see that the head stones had been cleaned and taken care of but we gave them a little brush and wash to make sure they looked well cared for.
In school we learned about the meaning of the poppy and created a display as a mark of respect.
P7 Whole School House Challenge
Last week our House and Vice Captains organised a whole school Kahoot Quiz challenge.
They visited every class and organised everyone in to their House Team and set the quiz running.
We hope that the house points will boost the running totals for each house team.
P6/7 Cross Country
Well done to our Cross Country Team who represented Fenwick Primary School at the East Ayrshire Cross Country Schools Event last week.
The team warmed up together, motivated and encouraged each other. They even made up their own cheer leading chant!
We looked the part in our Fenwick Kit!
Each runner gave their best and ran with determination! We were all incredibly proud of their amazing efforts. Well done everyone, what a fabulous team !
P7 – Children in Need 15 Nov

P7 – Fri 8th Nov Dress Down
