P7 Visit to Fenwick Church

Fenwick Parish church Visit

We loved visiting Fenwick Parish Church today where Rev Kim shared what happens during  christenings/baptisms.
Some of the children brought in pictures of their own  and their parents christenings/baptism to show Rev Kim.
We got to ask lots of questions about the church, how people are christened and some children even found their names and their parents names in the church book!

P7 Heartstart Training

Heartstart Scotland

P7 had a visit from Heart Start Scotland, where they learned how to save a person’s life. We learned  how to put someone in the recovery position, safely deliver CPR, and access and use a defibrillator. Important lifelong skills to learn.

We have been encouraged to take our learning home and share with our families. Please ask us how to put someone into the recovery position.

We would love to teach you!

P7 Football

Football Success

Well done our fabulous Primary 7 and Primary 6 football team. We continue to make progress together as a team and today we travelled to Loudoun Academy to take part in an inter schools  tournament and a friendly match.

We look fabulous in our Fenwick Team Strip.

Mr Houston complimented their team spirit, positive attitude and improving skills on the football field. Well done everyone! We are proud of you.

P7 Goodbye Miss Wales

Miss Wales

Today we said goodbye to our fabulous student teacher, Miss Wales. We have loved learning with her over the last 6 weeks and will miss her ‘call outs’, creativity and lovely presence in our classroom. Thank you Miss Wales for your dedication and engaging lessons, we have all loved having you and wish you well as you finish your last term at university.

Primary 7 – Netball Tournament

Netball League

We were delighted to enter a Netball Team to take part in the East Ayrshire Netball League Tournament at the Rose Reilly Centre in Stewarton. We entered a mixed team of P6 and P7 pupils and were delighted to come in 3rd place.

We demonstrated teamwork, sportsmanship and ambition. Mrs Ross and Miss Jackson were proud of the determination and netball skills that the team demonstrated.

Well done Team Fenwick!
