Screaming with fun and laughter as p6 go tubing!!!

What amazing skills p6 have demonstrated on the ski slope!

As part of Maths Week Scotland and the theme maths in motion we investigated how the shape, size and weight and style of a paper aeroplane affected the distance and speed it flew. We adapted our models using the maths learnt.

In Primary 6/7 we have been completing a number of math activities for maths week. Shown above is a scavenger hunt where the children had to find maths questions around the classroom.
Children also worked in groups to make their own maths themed board games. These were explained to the class so the children could play their peers games.
Finally, children revised symmetry and completed symmetrical geometric art pieces.

Some Roald Dahl themed activities to celebrate Roald Dahl day!

In primary 6/7 we have all picked a book that we would like to read in class. We have been making bookmarks to keep our place in the books we are reading.
Homework for this week can be found in TEAMS under the homework channel. Tasks are in the tab titled Files.
