p6/7 PE
It was great fun taking part in rounders using batting and catching skills and communication within a team.
P6/7 Maths outdoors
The children had to create a symmetrical picture that represented the school building using natural materials. they worked together in groups to be successful learners.
P6/7 Number patterns and problem solving
The children were set the task of adding another row of triangles then continually adding to it. they had to identify how many sticks would be used and what the pattern was. They had to use their problem solving skills and reasoning for this activity.
P6/7 Global Goal 8
we explored Global goal 8: Decent work and Economic Growth. The aim was to understand where and how clothes were made. pupils had to allocate £24 between the cotton grower, cotton buyer, weaver, factory owner and shop owner. This led to a discussion about equality and equity- UNCRC rights 24, 2 and 6.
