Look out for p6/7!!!!

Primary 6 and 7 were outstanding in sharing their presentations through PowerPoint, models and posters. Super informative and interesting to listen to. Well done!

As part of exploring rationing we followed a simple recipe where oats were the main ingredient and not rationed with small amounts of sugar and butter that would be rationed to make flapjacks. We used our maths skills to read the scales in grams.

Ellis and Laird went to the EAC Junior Youth Conference on Climate Change. We were able to join live in class to participate in discussions and questions.

One of the tasks set for the pupils during last week’s Wellbeing Champions training session was to create a wellbeing alphabet. We decided that we would create one alphabet that everybody took part in to display to the whole school to promote positive wellbeing in Fenwick Primary. The pupils worked well in pairs then as a class to finalise their alphabet and produce the finished display. Click the link below to see their great work and be sure to have a peek at it in the corridor this week if you are in for parent’s evening.
P6/7 led the warm up and games in PE.

As part of the John Muir Award p6/7 followed instructions to build a hedgehog house. The resources were supplied by LOST as part of a collaborative project, The Restoration fund, that Fenwick are taking part in
