Last week Primary 6 enjoyed a fun filled day to celebrate Killieween. We watched The Nightmare Before Christmas, participated in a range of activities including, spider races, find the creepy crawlies, making iced digestives, dooking for apples and Halloween bingo. In the afternoon we had fun at our Halloween party in the hall when we joined P4 to P7 for some dancing, games and treats!
Primary 6 really pulled out all the stops with their costumes!

We have been invited to participate in the East Ayrshire Primary Schools Cross Country 2024 event in November (subject to securing transport). As part of this process we will be holding heats with all P6 and P7 pupils on Friday the 11th October and Tuesday 22nd October.
Can we ask that all children come to school with a full change of clothes in their bag to use for the cross country heats in the field. The heats will take place regardless of weather and/or condition of the field so children may get wet or dirty (please keep this in mind when packing their change of clothes and shoes for these dates). Further updates will be posted in due course.
Primary 6 were delighted to have Blair come and deliver a tennis session. We focused on developing the ‘volley’ shot through a range of warm up games and progressive activities. Blair commented how excellent the Primary 6 pupils were and that their abilities were great. Super work P6!
Well done to our P6 pupils who participated in and passed their Bikeability Level 1. A huge thank you to Lynsey Murphy from Active Schools who came along to support Mrs Wilson with the delivery of this. The pupils had lots of fun and it was excellent to see a growth in confidence as well as abilities throughout the day. All of the pupils seem excited about progressing onto their Bikebility level 2 training.
