P6 had a visit from Heart Start Scotland, where they learned all about how to save a person’s life. The boys and girls learned how to put someone in the recovery position, safely deliver CPR, and access and use a defibrillator. Very important skills to learn.

To celebrate Easter, Primary 6 pupils participated in an Easter egg hunt in the garden. They also played Easter themed bingo and enjoyed an Easter party with other classes.
Primary 6 visited the ECC and enjoyed making Easter crafts with their buddy’s. The children also delivered lovely Easter baskets that they made in class, filled with Easter treats for their buddy’s to enjoy over the Easter break.

This term P6 have been learning about different natural disasters. Following on from our learning focusing on volcanoes and volcanic eruptions, the children constructed their own model volcano and then created a volcanic eruption through a science experiment.
