P6 visited the ECC to meet their buddies for the first time. All the children had a lovely afternoon in the ECC garden, forming positive relationships and having fun.

Awards Assembly
A huge well done to our P6 pupils who have been showing our school values throughout the school.
P6 – Natural Disasters
P6 have been learning about natural disasters. The children used their knowledge of earthquakes to carry out a critical skills challenge where they worked as a team to design and construct an earthquake proof building.
P6 – Digital Literacy
P6 have continued to develop their coding skills through exploring Micro:Bits. The children completed different projects related to different coding skills for example coding the tune ‘Happy Birthday’ and creating a code based on this weeks spelling words.
P6 – Netball
Primary 6 have been developing their netball skills. We have been working on passing, footwork, shooting and working as a team.
P6 – Digital Literacy
P6 had another great session with Mr Wilson from HP. The children explored more features within TEAMS and created a collaborative story.

P6 continued to develop their digital literacy skills through exploring Mirco:Bits. The children used prior learning of how to code to create different sounds, pictures, and messages on their Micro:Bit and shared their codes with the rest of the class.
