We have been trying different types of learning to help us remember our multiplication tables. Today we played ball games indoors and outdoors and learned some songs to help our brains reinforce each table.
As part of Maths Week Scotland, we took our learning outdoors today and played strategy games in pairs. Ask us and we can teach you how to play 15s and 3in a row.
We discussed how much the fresh air and sunshine helped us to think !
In numeracy we have been learning about place value, rounding and estimation.
We have enjoyed lots of activities in class to reinforce our understanding.
Today p5/6 enjoyed working collaboratively during maths to engage in a variety of numeracy activities.
