This week we explored the UNCRC article of the week:
We discussed our different nationalities and identities then researched the meaning of our names and created doodles to represent our own individual personalities.
Primary 5 pupils and Primary 6 pupils have permission forms in their school bags, please complete these and return as soon as possible.
Please check your email and our school app for more details.

Primary 5/6 have been very active during PE this week.
We have been increasing our fitness and stamina by taking part in active stations.
We have been improving our technique and motivating and supporting each other 💪🏻
Lots of fun outside this morning to get some much needed fresh air and play together before we stop for the holidays.
We had lots of fun today at our party 🎉
P5/6 are looking forward to welcoming family and friends to their allocated slot at 11.30 am tomorrow, Friday 9th December . They will be singing Christmas songs and selling their Christmas decorations
On 10th December 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly.
This important moment in human history is now remembered on that date every year and is known as Human Rights Day.
All children have the same human rights as adults. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child sets out the additional rights that all children have until the age of 18.
Children’s rights are human rights so we can celebrate them alongside the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Primary 5/6 chose the activities they wished to do to demonstrate their learning: create a song, design a poster, record a timeline of events or produce an animation of a right or rights.
We have really been learning so many facts about the history of the Titanic and reading our novel the Titanic Detective Agency.
Next week we are going to be making cabins to create our own Titanic model.
Please bring a small empty shoe box from home and you can also bring any items from home that you would like to use in your model.
