P5/6 Secret Student Class Treat

Secret Student Class Treat

Primary 5/6 have been working hard as a team in class to demonstrate our school values of kindness, honesty, respect and ambition.

We have worked together and have  20 class points which means we have earned a class treat. We have chosen to watch a film and enjoy some popcorn and drink  in the afternoon of Friday 7th October.

Mrs Ross will provide some popcorn and juice but children can bring a small snack in with them if they choose to.

P5/6 have also chosen to bring a small cuddly toy with them too. Please just wear school uniform  as we will follow our usual timetable in the morning.

We are choosing our film in the morning. Please let the school know in advance if you would prefer your child not to watch a PG certificate.

Thank you

Mrs Ross

P6 – Wellbeing Champions

Wellbeing Champion Training

Primary 6 and 7 have been taking part in the East Ayrshire Pupil Wellbeing Champion Training. This week they completed session 2 of 4. During this session they were encouraged to consider different strategies they could use to positively impact upon the younger pupils wellbeing especially if the younger pupils are feeling upset or angry.

At the end of this training all pupils will be trained and prepared to become Fenwick Primary School’s Wellbeing Bees as part of their Primary 7 responsibilities to promote wellbeing across our school.

P5/6 Basketball

After an excellent warm up led by two of our superstars, we enjoyed learning some new basketball skills today.

We practised dribbling and shooting. We displayed great sportsmanship and encouraged and supported each other demonstrating respect on the basketball court.

A total of 30 amazing baskets scored between us all !
