Setting the Scene<\/h1>\n

During creative writing this week, we have been learning how to set the scene for our stories.<\/p>\n

Today we took part in a writing workshop in class where we uplevelled our descriptive writing skills.\u00a0 We learned how to move verbs about in a sentence, how to vary the length of our sentences and how to use a thesaurus to improve our vocabulary .<\/p>\n

We then became set designers and chose a description to create our own sets. Some of us would love to do this as a career.<\/p>\n

STEM task : create a charcter for your set and make them stand up .<\/p>\n

Lots of fun active learning in class today.<\/p>\n
