Primary 5/6 participated in great discussions today about different scenarios that we may experience when using the internet, using chat forums and online gaming and what we should and should not do in each scenario.
Our Digital leaders also shared East Ayrshire’s Top Ten Tips for staying safe online. These tips will be displayed in the classroom and discussed regularly.

Thank you to Lorna from the LOST team for making our day so much fun and teaching us so many new skills. We went home filled with enthusiasm, a smile on our faces and a smell of outdoor fires in our hair 🙂 We will definitely sleep well tonight!
Here are some photos of us enjoying these activities…
Primary 5/6 are looking forward to our prize of a day of Outdoor Learning lead by the Learning Outdoors Support Team (LOST)
We will be visiting the woodlands and will be outside all day (returning to school for lunch)
All children must wear appropriate outdoor clothing that is warm , comfortable and is easily washed! Also some suitable footwear for activities in the woods.
Pupils should also bring their snack and water bottle with them as usual.
For Scottish Fortnight, P5/6 have been learning a variety of Scottish Dances including the Canadian Barn Dance and the Dashing White Sergeant. We have had great fun!
