We had a great afternoon at Fenwick Bowling Club.
We walked down with Mrs Moore and Mrs Ross and met Mr Houston and his daughters at the bowling green .
Douglas from the bowling club had set up activities for us to try out and we all had a grreat afternoon.
We are hoping to take some of ur parents along to try this sport out and to visit during Fenwick Gala Week.

We created different types of volcanoes – cinder cone, shield and Stratovolcanoes.
We then folowed the instructions to create a chemical reaction to imitate a volcanic eruption.
We decided that our reaction was like a pyroclastic flow.
Our final experiment was creating an explosive chemical reactionĀ using coke and mentos.
We programmed Marty following a program in our workbook and then debugged the program so that Marty would follow the instructions.
We enjoyed free play programming on Scratch to create our own games
One group programmed Dash to move around the classroom , under legs and through tables.
Our last group used Code.org to practise theirĀ coding skills following the instructions to move through the levels.
