A fantastic morning experiencing a taster session of cricket with Kilmarnock Cricket Club.
We we’re lucky enough to have the session led by Mark from KCC and Abdul who is an ex-international player from Pakistan and Ben who is an amateur player fromSouth Africa.
A fabulous experience for us all.
Please note our PE days have now changed to Wednesday instead of Thursday – please see class information page for detail

Congratulations to all our Primary 6 riders who completed their BikeabilityScotland Level 1 training today.
They have developed bike control skills in a traffic free environment and have learned how to be safe and resonsible cyclists.
Well done everyone !
Today we met our buddies again. We had written them a letter and drawn them a self portrait. We were very excited to read them to our buddies.
We also brought along a book to read too.
Today we learned how to debug programs.
We programmed Marty following a program in our workbook and then debugged the program so that Marty would follow the instructions.
We enjoyed free play programming on Scratch to create our own games
One group programmed Dash to move around the classroom , under legs and through tables.
Our last group used Code.org to practise their coding skills following the instructions to move through the levels.
We continue to practise our spelling strategies in class.
Today we used reciprocal teaching to create and dictate sentences to our partner and then check each others spelling, handwriting and punctuation.
Our most recent newsletter for April – June can now be found on our Class Information page .
I hope all of you and your families and friends enjoy a fun filled holiday ! See you all in 2 weeks 🌷🐣☀️
