Well, what a fun day we had…
Thank you to Lorna from the LOST team for making our day so much fun and teaching us so many new skills. We went home filled with enthusiasm, a smile on our faces and a smell of outdoor fires in our hair 🙂 We will definitely sleep well tonight!
Here are some photos of us enjoying these activities…
To round off our Scottish afternoon, P5/6 enjoyed a treat of shortbread and Irn Bru!
Primary 5/6 are looking forward to our prize of a day of Outdoor Learning lead by the Learning Outdoors Support Team (LOST)
We will be visiting the woodlands and will be outside all day (returning to school for lunch)
All children must wear appropriate outdoor clothing that is warm , comfortable and is easily washed! Also some suitable footwear for activities in the woods.
Pupils should also bring their snack and water bottle with them as usual.
For Scottish Fortnight, P5/6 have been learning a variety of Scottish Dances including the Canadian Barn Dance and the Dashing White Sergeant. We have had great fun!
A copy of our class newsletter for January – April has been uploaded to our Class Information page.
We thoroughly enjoyed racing our partner to complete our circle with 360 degrees angles. We took it in turns to choose an angle card and use a protractor to draw the angle within the circle. The winner was the first to get to 360!
