As part of learning about writing instructions as a writing lesson the pupils followed a recipe to make truffles and instructions to build a den. They identified the features clear instructions need to be clearly understood.
As part of refugee day p4/5 took part in a live listen where they were able to hear about other pupils experiences and stories and talk about what being a refugee means.
Lots of fun was had on Friday playing games, learning circus skills, badge making, face painting, giant slide and playing in the garden.
We joined the author Jamie Smart, live, on  Scottish Book Trust live authors. The pupils’ learnt to draw Bunny and Monkey and create their own cartoon strip.
P4/5 have been working hard on improving their fitness skills in PE. The pupils have taken part in stamina, agility, strength and conditioning exercises over the past few weeks.
