Mr Harper and his colleague visited us from East Ayrshire Council and talked to us about littering, dog fouling and fly-tipping.
We were surprised to know that a banana takes 2 years to decompose and nappies take up to 500 years!
P3/4 scanned QR codes to access different websites on our iPads to find out information about rainforest plants.
Things we learnt:
Our morning starters change weekly and we have been focusing on the alphabet. Each table has a different activity and then they rotate each day so everyone gets a chance to explore each activity.
We have been ordering the alphabet in small letters, in capital letters, matching the small letter to capital letters and identifying the letters before and after.
Primary 3/4 successfully all logged onto the laptops using their usernames and passwords!
We have been learning to use the trackpad on the laptop. We practised our clicking and dragging skills in Paint. We also learnt how to use the shape, colour and paint pot tools as well. Here are some examples of what some pupils created – great work!
