We are reading Flat Stanley as our class novel. During the story, Stanley gets posted to his friend in California.
We have joined up with a school in Spain and are going to write to a Year 3 class as pen pals.
Everyone wrote an introductory letter about themselves to their new pen pal and created a “Flat me” to send alongside their letters.
Excitement levels were high today as we walked to the post box to post our letters. We can’t wait to receive our responses from Spain!

We have been learning about the brain and its functions.
We made a paper maché brain and identified the different parts of the brain. We used coloured tissue paper to distinguish the different lobes and their functions.

This block of homework has now ended. The next homework block will commence on 28th April 2025.
Primary 3/4 celebrated Valentine’s Day by discussing what it feels like to fall in love with a good book. We then enjoyed reading our library books.

In hockey today, we have been consolidation our hold on the stick, our push pass, aiming towards a target and stopping the ball.

Mrs Conetta and P3/4 are looking for old newspapers to use in Science next Tuesday (18th Feb). If you have any at home and are finished with them, please send them in.
Thank you!
When we start a new topic/IDL, we like to complete a KWL (what you KNOW, what you WANT to know and what you have LEARNT).
Today, the class logged into Glow, open their emails and used the link sent by Mrs Conetta to a KWL Padlet on My Body. It is like an online post-it notice board that updates in real-time! Everyone was excited to post on the Padlet and read everyone else’s posts about the body.
We will revisit the Padlet and add what we have learnt at the end of the topic.
