P3/4 – Christmas Fayre Update

Fenwick Primary School Christmas Fayre
Please see below a reminder/update regarding our Christmas Fayre which is this Friday.
We can’t wait to welcome our families along to join in the festivities.

Also, we have been very lucky to secure prizes of vouchers and gifts for our raffle at the Christmas Fayre. Tickets can be bought this Friday 6th December during the Christmas Fayre. If any local businesses or families would still like to donate prizes, these would be more than welcome (please contact the school to do so). We also have house coloured treat hampers along with a selection of other prizes that have been kindly donated by our pupils and their families that will be up for grabs!

P3/4 – Book Week Scotland

P3/4 have enjoyed Book Week Scotland.

We have loved having visitors in to our classroom to read to us – thank you to P7 pupils, parents and author, Hannah Willow.

We thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘My Police on Patrol’ and meeting the kids officers with their car and police horses!

P3 pupils had a great morning with their families completing activities and receiving their Read, Write, Count bags.

P4 had fun making origami bookmarks.

The mobile library visited us this week too.

REMINDER: PE DAYS

PE DAYS REMINDER

PE  days for Primary 3/4 are a Monday and a Friday.  Can all children please bring PE kit – shorts, t-shirt and a change of gym shoes on these days.  Otherwise they are welcome to leave their gym kit in a bag on their peg.

Please ensure your child’s name is on all clothes/footwear.  Thank you.

P3/4 – IDL and Fairtrade

Having learnt about products and resources the rainforests give us, we decide to look into fairtrade products.

P3/4 watched a video describing what can happen to non-fairtrade farmers who grow crops and compared this to farmers who are fairtrade farmers.  They worked in pairs to compare the journeys these products take.  We had a lot of discussion about how it is fair that the farmers get a fair price and what they can do with the money.
