P3/4 undertook their litter pick of the community as we work towards our EAC Clean Green Award. Well done, Fenwick community, there wasn’t much litter for us to collect today!

P3/4 RRS Outright: Health Equity
As part of the RRS Outright Campaign, P3/4 have been discussing the risks and obstacles children may face to access healthcare. We discussed the importance of health equity and solutions to these risks/obstacles.
P3/4 RRS: Dignity, Equity and Equality
The RRS Committee have been continuing their work to ensure at Fenwick Primary and ECC, we are a Rights Respecting School. At the beginning of the week, they sharing information about dignity, equity and equality. We watched a video which helped explain the difference between equity and equality. The committee set us a the challenge for this week to take photos to show how we ensure dignity, equity and equality.
P3/4 French: Les Animaux
P3/4 have been playing games to consolidate their vocabulary of animals in French. Lots of fun and laughter was had playing “Who am I?”
P3/4 Neeps and Tatties
We were kindly donated the Scottish story, Neeps and Tatties by Scottish charity Nil By Mouth. P3/4 thoroughly enjoyed listening to the story and discussing the important messages given throughout the story about discrimination, acceptance, courage and friendship.
They created their own Neep or Tattie character. Mrs Conetta thinks they are braw!
P3/4 Number Day
Thanks to the RRS and Maths & Numeracy committees for organising a fantastic number day. P3/4 loved creating a maze for the BeeBots and working as a team problem solving.
P3/4 Kindness Mission
While discussion what makes Fenwick Primary School unique, we identified qualities we have are kindness, respect, honesty and lots more. One pupil suggested it would be a good idea for each member of the class to demonstrate these qualities through acts of kindness.
This morning, everyone was given a secret mission to complete this week at school or at home. Look out for examples of kindness.
