We used water pastels to create a bird’s eye view of a beach. We blended the pastels and then used water on top to make it look like the movement of the waves.

We learnt about clothing the Romans would have worn and then were tasked to design our own outfit for a Roman. We have a lot of budding designers in P3/4!
We practised our spelling words outside with water and a paint brush on the playground.
P4 pupils worked with Lynsey from Active Schools to create an obstacle course for the rest of the school and ECC to complete to support UNICEF Soccer Aid 2023. This links to Article 31 where all children have the right to rest, relax and play however, sometimes barriers/obstacles like war and poverty can get in the way of accessing this right.
P3/4 participated in a Harry Potter Cosmic Kids Yoga session. Lots of stretching, balancing and co-ordination being developed.
P3/4 enjoyed a session at the tennis court playing some games and practising their forehand.
Primary 3/4 enjoyed taking part in the activities that were organised for the Kings Coronation Celebrations. They loved the Royal Garden Games and the street party. 👑
We learnt about collage this afternoon and created collage Oompa Loompas as part of our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory topic.
P3/4 were thoroughly enjoying a French “Les Corps” – My Body Beetle Drive game this afternoon! The whoops of delight when a 6 was rolled could be heard down the corridor.
We were visited by Mr Wynne from Novo Technologies who taught us all about the role of being a managing director in a telecommunications company and most importantly how to work as a TEAM.
