P3/4 were set the challenge to design and create a mini rainforest showing what they have learnt about the layers of the rainforest from shoe boxes.
They worked collaboratively with each other plan, design and create their model. Miss Galloway and Mrs Conetta are blown away with their ideas and creativity.
Mrs Conetta and Miss Galloway have been so impressed with everyone’s writing over the past few weeks. It’s been so hard to pick our star writers as everyone’s worked so hard but here are this weeks ones. Well done everyone and keep working hard. 🤩
This week P3/4 worked in groups to create their one maths game. They then swapped with a different group so they could give them some feedback and next steps for their game. They did a great job 👏🏻 and are very excited to add their games to their maths game tasks.
Primary 3/4 took part in circuits training at PE on Friday. They had to work in group and the theme was to show encouragement to one another 😊
Wow, wow, wow! We have been learning all about the layers of the rainforest during our IDL lessons. These 3 children chose to spend a wet break and lunchtime working collaborative on this fantastic piece of work showing what they have learnt.
Over the last few weeks, we have been developing our passing, touch tackling and scoring skills. Today we played games using attackers and defenders to develop these skills.
Today we worked with a partner to spell our words for the week using our new phoneme.
Thank you to all who were able to come and share in our Numeracy Open Afternoon as part of Maths Week Scotland. There was a great atmosphere in the classroom and it was fantastic watching and listening to the children sharing their learning with you all.
