It also tested their understanding of the key features of a reading such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How to correctly use a contents page<\/li>\n<li>Purpose of the Index and Glossary<\/li>\n<li>Locating and identify the purpose of the blurb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As an early finisher pupils could reinforce their learner of their new spelling words using active literacy activities.<\/p>\n<p><img
