Technology: Laptops
This week P2/3 were practising logging on to the laptops themselves and typing their spelling words in Microsoft Word. The children were learning how to change the size of the text, the colour and the font.

This week we went outdoors to practice our spelling words using chalk! The children loved getting outside and working with a partner!

Yesterday in P2/3 the children were answering questions about a book they had been reading in class, focusing on using capital letters and full stops. They also took part in some active spelling activities. This week P2/3 have been trying their best to listen to instructions.

Literacy: Spelling
In Primary 2/3 this week we have been learning our phonemes and spelling words by practicing on a keyboard, writing our words in macaroni and playing BANG. The children especially love when it is their turn using the keyboards. During the lesson, the children were trying very hard to listen to instructions and follow their taskboard independently.
