Science: Electricity
Yesterday in P2/3 we were learning how to build an electrical circuit. The children had the chance to try and build a working circuit with a battery, a bulb and a switch. We learned the symbols for these and drew our own circuits. The children loved seeing their bulbs light up!

Technology: Scratch
Today P1/2/3 really enjoyed learning about Scratch from our visitor from JP Morgan. Our visitor taught us how to use different features in Scratch and showed us some programmable robots.

Science: Walking Water
This afternoon we spoke about how water travels. P2/3 set up an experiment that showed how water could travel from one cup to another using a kitchen roll as our bridge.

Dogs Trust Visit
Yesterday in P2/3 we had a visitor from Dogs Trust. Our visitor taught us the five rules for behaving safely around dogs. The children loved meeting Magnus the dog!
