HWB: Friendships
Yesterday P2 and P3 were learning about friendships. We all made a leave for our friendship tree and discussed what we had written as we glued our own leave onto the tree. After that, we played friendship bingo.
Great work P2 and P3!
Today the Primary 2/3 pupils enjoyed a football session delivered by Callum from CP Fitness. They participated in several skills based practices focusing on dribbling and passing. The pupils did a great job and had lots of fun.
HWB School Improvement Pupil Committe – Worry Box
Some representatives from the HWB School Improvement Pupil Committee then visited our class to deliver and introduce a worry box. This has been delivered to all classes based on feedback from what pupils would like to see in our school.
Health Week – Soccer Aid
Yesterday, P4 worked with Lynsey from Active Schools to create an obstacle course for the rest of the school to support UNICEF Soccer Aid 2023. P2/3 had a great time tackling the obstacle course!
This links to Article 31 where all children have the right to rest, relax and play however, sometimes barriers/obstacles like war and poverty can get in the way of accessing this right.

Health Week: Mythical Mark Making
On Monday, P2/3 took part in a Mythical Mark Making workshop with Art Students from UWS. The children found things out in nature to draw and made their own paint brushes! After lunch, they painted using these paint brushes out in the playground.
Great work P2/3!
Castles
As we are coming to the end of our castles project the children worked together to colour and paint different parts of a castle that we are going to build.
Brilliant work P2/3!
